so, like i said, no hose (other than intake hose, some pvc,rubber elbow, and abs) in between maf and tb.

Im leaning more and more towards transmission problems now.

Flushed and replaced the tranny fluid last night. It seems a little better...definete improvement but it is still there. I don't have any fuel economy loss or power delivery problems in any part of the power band...I'm getting confused.

I'm having a problem with the mystique (mtx) that might be called a st..st..stutter, although I would call it a sh..sh..shudder. It occurs when I am accelerating, under load. The front end has new driveaxles, struts, balljoints, front and rear motor mounts. For what it's worth, the problem is less noticeable when the tires are over-inflated (36-40psi). Also, the problem seems less noticeable when the fuel tank is nearly empty. I know my front rotors are warped, and I know the rear control arms are bent. I first noticed the problem after I hit a bump in the road.
