Okay, Demon, the 5400 includes the Quaife to be installed. I'm the first to admit, this is not a cheap proposition. David Z. Roger (3.0 E0 SVT), and Bito (who has the 3.0 with an ATX), were supposed to help me. David is very committed and busy with his real job, and I haven't talked to him in over two months (David was my primary guy to go to). Roger has helped me with parts.
I did think long and hard about the labor costs involved with this. Realistically, I don't have the time to do it, and everyone that I was going to get involved is busy with their lives too. I would've loved to do this myself with the help of friends. But I do need to work, and I can't afford to be out of a car for a month or two. Plus, I cannot do the harder parts of the swap, I'm not a mechanic/technician.
I just picked up the heads tonight, and they look so sweet. I'll try to post pictures soon.....I'm supposed to deliver the heads to SHOshop tomorrow.
Besides, it's really nice when the wife says "okay" to the 3.0. I'm sure she would've kicked my ass if I just replaced the head gaskets and got an S/C instead. LOL
