....As far as the ceramic coating goes, if your members want to send their header kits to Jethot, this will be OK and will not void the MSDS warranty, as their coating- warranty will be directly with Jethot. We will not be able to send the parts into Jethot, this will be up to each purchaser of this group buy.
Any kind of header wrapping will VOID the MSDS warranty. The net cost of our coating will be deducted from the price of our HO810 header/ y-pipe set , which will be stated on the order form.
Our current ceramic subcontractor "Xtreme Heat Coatings" has been very comitted to high quality and good customer service. We give our customers a one year warranty to the parts and coatings on their headers/ y-pipes, and this includes the daily driver or the hardcore drag racer. When compared to an OE Ford warranty, it's about the same in months HOWEVER if you go racing... your warranty is null and void with Ford.
Some of our customers have totally trashed their headers with chips or nitrous that can cause high EGTs way over any ceramic coatings limits( including Jethots), and we have stood behind our product with recoating . Some customers that are even over the 1 year have been accomodated also . We have also seen some of our older customers that are selling their cars and want to part out their MSDS headers, ask for re-coatings and state weird excuses ...AGAIN we stand behind our warranty and presto !..........Have a Happy New Year, Vtec Smoked by Duratec !
