I did the SSS 9005s this weekend. Easy!! I just used some angled needle nose plyers to break off the 2 little tabs...then a razor blade to trim. Went right in!! Woo-hoo!

It seems everyone with 885's has eventually bubbled the lenses to some extent. I've also got some on the way and if they last two years without damaging the lenses I'll pretty excited.
Three years of use on the 885 bulbs, no problems what so ever. They are a nice cheap improvement over the stock bulb.
