Im running into the same problem....Try buying the O2 Enhancers form SPMotorSports.Com....they attach to your exsisting O2 Sensors and change the voltage to them to prevent the CEl form comming on when you do custom exhaust systems.There 64.99 for a set of 2 ( there are 4 on a v6 and i believe 2 on the 4 cyl) Basicly it makes your o2 sensors believe that your exhaust is still stock. That should fix it....But im not sure if the machines that they use for smog checks can detect that your using them.

Oh by the way...to remove the CEL light, disonnect the battery and then push on the breaks to release any voltage in the system...then reattach the battery...and the light should go away.
