as you might know, it is colder than a witch's titty right now in iowa. Im trying to get out to my car as often as possable to let it run and keep from freezing. today i took it out and as it warmed up, the tranny or clutch was acting really bad. when i shifted, sometimes, it just kicked the shifter out of gear or just wouldnt go into gear. this is worrysome, but once it was running for about 15 or 20 minutes it was fine and shifted as smooth as ever. Im pretty sure that this is only a symptom of the cold, but if this is a precurser to something really bad please let me know. man i miss my garage back home.

I Think this is a problem with all mtx 75's, do you have the trany coctail in? I've heard that helps with cold transmission behaviour

nope, im not sure what the tranny coctail is. it is reassuring though that this is a common problem and not the behavio of something about to break. does anyone know if there is tranny blanket like mentioned above that i could get. even a blanket to put over the whole motor would be nice to help with the cold starts

It's somewhere in the faq mods section, check that out first then resort to other measures.
