The whole idea behind the FSVT swap was better performance for little to no extra cost. I don't road race, or streetrace for that matter...only some spirited driving, I might hit the track at the national meet, so for me, it was a good decision.


Thanks for the compliment. When I first saw Toreador red in the magazine's (March, 97), it thought it was ugly, until I saw my car on the showroom floor. I took it home that night.

Back to brakes....I understand keeping the cost down, and trust me, my street racing days are long gone and I doubt I'll take it to an open track event (I could be pursuaded maybe..), but I do the spirited driving thing. Anyways, they're saying that the cost of SVT Focus rears are 360 through Bill, which is a good price, but the basic TCE kit costs 435, which is an 11.75 x .81" two-piece, vented rotor. I believe the SVT-F rear brake rotor is solid.

And Shaun, I hate your brakes!!!!!
