Hey guys, I'm actually an Audi owner ('86 5000 turbo quattro) but my girlfriend has a 'tour. Pretty cool what you guys are doin with these things---especially the CAI. I've been lurking around here for a while, just never became a registered user. Anyway, the ole lady wants some more juice for her car so I thought I'd hook her up with a dual exhaust off an SVT and maybe an intake. What modifications need to be made to get the dual exhaust on? I figured custom brackets...anything else?...intallation tips? I thought about just doin the cut out resonator with a dynomax deal but that seems like just as much work as puttin on duals. Anybody have sound clips of the SVT exhaust on a zetec? Hopefully one of you guys will give me a deal on your intake when the CAI units are done. Thanks, Jason '86 5ktq

You will need the right side hanger for the second muffler, and the front pipe extended about 6-8 inches to reach the flexpipe. The rest of the hangers are in the right place.

Video clip It's just my car on the dyno. The 1st run is SVT exhaust/stock intake. The 2nd and 3rd are SVT exhaust/CAI. The sound isn't perfect since I was in a building, but you'll get an idea, I hope.

Even if you don't have the answer, you certainly have to admire the problem.

Welcome to the boards. I believe someone said you have to add a foot of pipe and you will need a hanger on the passangers side. I paid $75.00 at a local shop for them to hang mine....
