I'm not quite sure if this belongs in troubleshooting, but we all know that while starting the car with the drivers door open, the doors (if equipped with power locks) lock automatically. Is there any fuse or wire i can remove/clip?
I just remembered to bring it up, because it has been quite a pain. I have pop-a-lock on speed dial now .

I don't think my car's doors have ever locked automatically when I start the car. I will have to check that out though.

Keep your driver's door open while starting it. See what happens.

Mine never did. Until I got keyless entry. Now it locks by itself. Do you have an aftermarket keyless entry?

It is a feature of your aftermarket alarm system. I can enable and disable this feature on mine, you should be able to do the same. On my control module under the dash, there are some dipswitches that enable and disable all the features of my alarm. Most i have seen are the same way. So if you know where the main control module is, see if it has any switches and play w/ them to see what each one will control, or just consult the book for your alarm.
