OK, since 215/50ZR-16's are impossible to come by, what size summer tire should I get? I used the Miata tire calculator (http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html) and 205/55-16 or 225/45-16 are the closest that I came across. Does anyone here use either of these sizes? I am leaning more towards the 205/55-16. I know some people use 225/55-16 but I am really concerned with rubbing.
If I go with the 205/55-16 the choices on TireRack are:
Bridgestone Potenza S-02
Dunlop SP Sport 9000
Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3
Pirelli PZero System Direzionale
Pirelli PZero Nero
I plan on doing a bunch of research into this, but which tire would you recommend? Thanks.
