Looks sweet Paul, good job man!

Yep, those are coilovers.

These pics just go to prove how much deeper the Pre-98 SVT look front bumper is compared to an actual SVT one. Micah was telling me how they did that on purpose to make it look a bit more bad-ass.. but when you tack the splitter on there it's just mental!

I've had mine as low as yours around SZ'02 last year, but the front was never this close to the ground. It's hard to drive like that without destroying the splitter. I had to run very high damping rate to keep the car from bottoming out while cornering. Watch out for those bumps and onramps.

How 'bout that 2nd clear corner now!

Thanks guys, for the comments.

looks kind of ricey

I had explained what happened when I previously posted pics of my paintjob. Before the paint was put on, I was working on my bumper. I was driving my car onto some ramps, and the bottom of the bumper caught the ramp, was jammed upward, and POPPED the lense of the corner clean off the assembly. So I figured since it was off, why not try to take the reflector out. I was thinking instead of it being rice, it was different. How many other Pre-98 contours have clear corners? Anyways, I used a dremel with sanding bit, and just grinded the reflector away. There was simply no other way for that thing to come off.

In those pics, thats how low I had it jsut going around the block to show my buddy how it looked, and BOOM, gound around the corner it scraped and took a couple chunks out of it. I have them filled in on the picture.. I just and going to sand it down and touch it up later on.
As of now, winter time, I have stock wheels on, car is raised up all the way on coil overs, and the splitter is taken off. So daily driving isnt so bad now.
Again, thanks for the comments guys!!

What fog lamps are you using? If they're stock then the lighting must be *off* b/c they look different...

They are the PIAA 510's. If you or anyone is debating on buying them, all I can say is that who needs headlights anymore. LOL. These things are awesome, Incredibly bright, and they don't look too different from stock when they are off. I LOVE THEM! Good eye ya got there.

F'n sweet!~! I hate seeing cars like this 'cuz that just means I have more work to do! J/K Can I pirate some pics???

LOL I can't see any straight on shots so I can't tell how close to stock the fitment. Only PIAA's I've seen had like an inch around the entire circumference of space. Didn't like 'em. But I may consider yours...

one word sweet!! I thought about doing the SVT conversion to my 97 but was afraid the front bumper wouldn't fit. Nice job on the car.
