I have a Miks Heatshield, the best in the industry, still didn't help. . .
I'm moving the battery, maybe that'll help. . .the filter just gets too hot, a scoop and a hose would DEFINTLEY cool the whole area down, draw some cold air, then the performance gains would be awesome. . .but then you run the risk in wet weather of destroying your engine. . .it's a compromise, it always is. . .
