make a good heatshield...run some hose from the front bumper to the filter and it will be fine, even in the hot summer. If you are really that worried, get a functional hood scoop that goes directly into the intake. You could relocate your battery to the trunk if you wanted as well, that would create a little less heat and more room to breathe.
