Get a power antenna unit from early model Contour or Mystique (they are often on ebay)... then sand down the chrome base and paint it black... I don't know about making the antenna itself black, haven't ventured to try that yet... knowing me I'll screw it up... but the black antenna base will look nice when the antenna is retracted.
