ok this has happened three times. First time i was sittin in parking lot at idle and the car just died. Next time was about 3 months later at a stop light she just died. That was saturday then today i was driving shifting into third and the car just turned off, i had to pull off the road and pump gas to get it to start. Anyone know whats goin on?

Mine's doing similar stuff. Typically dies within the first 1-2 min. during first warm-up of the day (as idle is comming down) and dies sporadically after start up later in the day (sometimes). From what I've been able to gather, it is probably the IAC which is covered under an extended emissions warranty (at least that's what the service mgr. at my dealership said....)

Have you heard a groaning type noise under the hood at all? If you have it probably is the IAC motor.I've had the same problem.It has been replaced under warranty.But i have not gotten the car back because they are still waitng on parts to fix the trans(3rd gear).

No i havent heard any noises actually, sounds just like it did when i first bout the car. The first time it happened it idled weird then just died but two other times there was no warning. Its weird
