shaggy, what does it mean to get your alternator rewound? never heard that term before i plan on gettin a new alty to install my pulley on too

Basically, it means to rebuild the alternator (actually generator) for higher output. I would like to get more power and increase longevity of the unit.  There is a place in PA that will do the work, and right now there is a FocalJetter trying to get a group rate. If that falls through, I'm just going to send the new alternator to the company and have them just work on mine.

hmmmm interesting...might be just the thing to do when considering an underdrive pulley...learn something new everyday...thanks for the info

I just went in today and they weren't ready  What I was told was the pullies were poping off the machine ore something... Anyhow they said they are gonna be working on them monday tuesday and should be all done by next week wednesday I am really sorry about this. I have no school next week so I should be able to ship them out very fast  Regards Nima
