Yes on torque sequence. Also the times I'e taken those bolts out, I put them in by hand with just the socket in my hand, screwing them down 'till they are just barely snug, then "wiggle" the manifold a tiny bit to make sure it's seated... THEN torque the bolts down in sequence. and i would use an antisieze on them too. (or a thin film of light grease, and torque accordingly)
