Ouch, that can't be good.
I made sure I cleaned my bolts up by spraying with WD-40 and wiping with a rag before re-inserting. They didn't want to go in smoothly until I did that. Of course, too little too late for you.
I'd be worried about the gasket leaking and leaning out your fuel charge. Lean = Boom if you aren't careful.
