hahaha i saw this on tv a few weeks back. if what you say is true, i gotta give it up to that kid lol. say what u want about what he did but i'll give props to anyone roasting the coppers like that  .

If the car did break down, it's possible they didn't have camera's in the other police cars, which is why they don't have it on film (the camaro with the camera got wrecked). I dunno but it's obvious they did just use previous footage for that part of the video. Also, I would think a 350HP camaro would be able to keep up with a stock M3 of that era no problem. I am assuming both were automatics though. That cop almost got killed. Not cool at all. I say the police shouldn't chase ANYONE for more than a mile. Did you see how many people both drivers were avoiding? I don't care what classes the officer took...it's dangerous and one day, (if not already) people are going to get killed. Get the plate and a description of the suspect, catch him later on.

All I know is that the cop was burnt!!  He should have been keeping up a lot better than that in a LT-1.

It is obvious they re-used footage at the end, but if the kid got a way in a stolen car..how do they know it was a 15 yr old kid driving?

They were talking about this video on the M3 forums. They said he got away so this is what made me and my friend look at the video better. Also I thought I heard this car was his pappies. I am sure he got caught later down the road not saying it was that day.

He was caught later in the chase.
It came up on the vwvortex forums a while back too. Someone dug up the newspaper reports from the time and posted them.
