From what I have seen the Silverstars have the brightest bulbs.

Silverstars are the brighest and on sale in the Group buy section.

None of the listed companies listed sell matching fog light bulbs. And from what I read, any of the comapanies that sell hyperwhite fog light bulbs are shiat quality.

hated silverstars???? i love them, i could hardly tell my lights were on before i got them, just used 9006 (lows) in lows, IMO it's worth the money.

I guess my question is...the Silverstars package has them listed at 55watts. And I noticed the Phillips are rated at 85watts. I'm on the road a lot (600 miles) and have 3 kids, and want the most light I can reasonably afford.

I also believe the Silverstars are the best for the wattage rating. I also like the fact that mine were in a previous car for some 20,000 mi and in my current SVTF for nearly 10k. Reliable. Mine are Osram, not Sylvania though.

the phillips you saw is most likely the high beam, high beam silver stars are more than 55 watts. and why do u need so many lights on a focus?

The replacement light bulbs on the BAT site list:

9005 - 65 watt or 100 watt
9006 - 55 watt or 80 watt

The 9006 are low beams right?

See http://www.batinc.net/contour.htm
