Well thanks guys for all the comments guys!! I am defiantely pleased with the paint. Allllrighty, now to answer some questions.. The paintjob cost me.. ohh.. well I am sure if I told you guys everyone would be pretty mad. lol Anyhow, put it this way. Since I took it to Krapohl's Ford where my uncle works in the body shop he got me a DEAL. He's the top painter and he got me all materials AT COST and since both of us put some major work into the car, and not just him, he lowered the labor fee dramatically. However, he told me that this is a paintjob that would cost and easy $2500 to $3500 depending on who worked on it, and for how long. Now about the corners. To make a long story short it kind of happened on accident. I was working on my bumper, and it put so much pressure on the corner, the lense popped cleanly off the plastic fixture. I tried to figure out a way to remove it, but no luck. So I turned to the trusy Dremel. I put the sander bit on it, and started shaving the reflector away. After it was all gone I sanded in inside of the lense as well as I could. Up close you can still see where the dremel went a little deeper than it should have. Anyhow, it looks pretty cool. Again, thanks for all the comments guys! When I go home from school I will put on my other wheels, svt wheels, and snap a few pics for ya lowered a bit more. See ya!!

I've been itching to do the exact same thing, I was just too concerned that the clear layer that was left would be too thin and easily break. But it looks good. How thick do you think the clear is that is left? Well, you car looks killer, definately low, but I likey. Now off to find some extra corners to tinker with now that it's cold.

Stolontour - The plastic is pretty thin, but its actually still pretty strong. I accidentally cracked it along the edge, but filled it in with some clear window adheasive and it turned out fine. The result, to me, is what I'd call a 5 footer. It definately looks cool from about 5 feet away. But when you take a close look at it, it looks kinda rough. Itsj ust becuase of the little pits that went too far passed the reflector while dremeling. Oh well, I am going to do what you said, buy a set from a junkyard or something, then spend some more time one it to make it look nice.
