That's a small turbo; outta spool pretty quick  Not gonna be as much room for turning the boost up compared to something like a t3 though.  If anybody can find a compressor map for this t17, I'd like to look at it...just for curiousity's sake.

this setup (turbo, intercooler...) is sooo easy...why didn't ford north america build this????

Well according to SCC the Focus RS will not come into the US for a few reasons: It needs 95-96 octane for max performance, Ford in Europe says the US will not recognize the rally heritage, and basically it doesn't want to hurt SVT's feelings.
