I'm guessing you have four reverse lights because you like to drive backwards right?
I will be perfectly honest. I don't hate Sunfires, I only hate Sunfires like that one.
Wheels - They are actually worse than the plastic caps they replaced. They have gills. I wish they would explode and die. I hate them more than stubbing my toe.
Body kit - Makes your car look heavy, which used to be it's only strong point (light and fast, assuming it's the 2.4L and a 5-speed) Now you've added 500 lbs of urethane to it. I hate it, please kill me now so I never have to look at it again.
Wing - See above. Good call adding a second, even more useless wing to the window. You are rendering the larger wing completely useless (not like it had a purpose in the first place) as the airflow will reflect off the little wing and completely miss the large wing. There may even be a vacuum under the big wing no producing lift, having the opposite effect you want at high speeds. That wing makes me want to kill again.
Hood - The scoops which I'm assuming are useless will produce drag. Nice, now have it replaced with a lightweight carbon fiber hood. That hood is the leading cause of death from vomiting in North America.
Window stickers - Since the wing blocks the view out the back, I guess the giant sticker is just great... for me to poop on. The ones on the front I can't read which I can live with. This aspect of the car is only slightly absolutely horrid.
When the Sunfire replaced the Sunbird back in 1812 I thought it was a really sharp looking car. My friend has one and we put a stereo system in it together. I thought it was a great car considering it's price. By the time I bought the Contour in 1999 they had started tacking on fake testarossa panels to the car and making really ugly wheels. Then came the little fins all over the bumpers. This year they went all out with the ugly stick. With a 2.4L and MTX it's a fairly lightweight and quick car, kind of like an older Neon R/T. Easily blows the doors off my ZX5 from a stop and able to stay door to door with a 2.5L mtx Contour from a stop. Why would you add all this weight to it and kill the only good thing it had going? For the ammount of cash that was spent, why skip on the good brakes, or was it just a coupe and not the GT?
