I lived in the Great White North for 30 years and developed a habit of placing a little dab of grease on the lugs every time I RR the tires. Drum brakes were the worst! My tech school instructor used to work for Ford and he showed us how to use a hammer on the drums as not to damage them. Road salt does funny things to dissimilar metals...
