I recently purchased two tires for the SVT.
To complete the set I went online to Tirerack.
When I received them, they were USED! WTF..
I called and they are sending two more, but still I
didn't expect to get a used tire from them.

Anyone else had this happen?

The wear indicators (nubs) were worn down even to the tire.
The sidewall was scuffed. The tires were not matched either.
Inner walls were not the same pattern. One was //// and the
other had a diamond shape.

Also, the sticker from the factory had been removed.

Oh one more thing. The service rep tells me "They may have
been shaved down on purpose.. optimized"

I said "um yeah, please send me another set... "

That is odd. What kind of tires were they?

I ordered some truck tires about a month ago. One of them had a scuff on the sidewall. I wasn't sure if it was going to affect safety, so I took some digipics and called Luke. I offered to e-mail pictures, but they just sent a repalcement. Had to wait a couple extra days, but they quickly too kcare of me. A+

I've ordered probably 10 sets of tires from them and I've never had an once of problem, as everything still had the factory stickers on the tires.

Weird. I definitely wouldn't take a tire that was used, especially if I've paid new prices for them...

ordered 6 sets of tires with them since '98, never had any problems - very surprised.

They do offer tire shaving and heat cycling as services. So mistakes can happen.

However, I've had nothing but good luck with them.

I've always had good responses from people about them.
Customer service is excellent.
Just kinda shocked they sent me those.
