I think they have a hotel list on their website to help you out . I usually drive out & back each day . It's over an hour each way for me , but I've got a dog to attend to . I think Steven (Oilman930) stays at a bed & breakfast each year , maybe he'll chime in & help you out . Good to see you're still checkin' in , Brian .

I am on the fringes of the group but I am registering under Contour Enthusiasts Group (all spelled out) as I did last year. Since I drive a Mystique I'm not sure if there will be confusion over assigning me to a Contour class. I'm sorry you didn't get the tent free last year, I thought you had achieved the required 25.
I will be looking for advice on DMD's lowering and camber kits so be prepared for questions.
My drive is 6 hours from VT but I consider it a worthwhile trip.

Even though you've got a Mystique , you'll be welcomed with open arms .

No offense guys but I dont want to be part of a big divided get together. I mean we're all there for the same reason, and no one needs to be childish about things. Secondly I'm talking with Rick(r96se), Chris (TBNPLR), and Nick(2Gsport)who should all be in attendance this year. We're driving over from Columbus. I'll have them register asap.
Sorry about my little spout about the sites, its just I dont want a few people being oucasts at the show because they havent posted here much or because they have an FCO sticker in their back window....does anyone agree?

I agree. Even if they are over at FCO instead of being here at CEG. They are still Contour Enthusiasts so they should be able to be included.

I agree with you.

I'm not speaking on Allen's behalf, but I think what he meant (correct me if I'm wrong Allen) is that it would be for people who register as "Contour Enthusiasts Group" people only - thus contributing to Contours getting our own class.

We had people (non-CEG/non-FCO) last year who didn't contribute to paying for the tent using it.

Register soon! It will be a nice relief to know that we will have our own class this year! (IF it happens - I think we around 20 right now.)

Pete hit it right on the head ... I meant people who actually HELPED us get the tent , i.e. - registered as the Contour Enthusiasts Group . I have NO beef with FCO peeps whatsoever . I'd hope that if there's FCO people planning on going , they registered as Contour Enthusiasts Group , as it would help out fellow enthusiasts . We really need the support of everyone to make this work each year .

I got Carlisle Productions to start a Contour Enthusiasts Group club / Contour class last year so we'd have somewhere to go at the Fords at Carlisle event (since we ARE the red-headed stepchild ) ... so USE THIS OPPORTUNITY !!!!!!!!!! If everyone would cooperate each year & register early as a CEG member , there's NO reason we couldn't use this event as a BIG meeting place , as the Merkurs do ! That's why there's always 100+ Merkurs there each year .

What's my point ?? If you helped our cause and registered as a CEGer , you'll be more than welcome !!
