I have 27,000 miles on my car and I have noticed that it cranks longer to start. I started off by checking the fuel system. I changed the filter, ran a full tank of 93 octane(Like always) with injector cleaner, that didnt help so I went to the wonderful town of bithlow for a tank of 106 octane to really clean out the system. Still the same. Please any info would help. confused

Maybe check your fuel pressure. Pep Boys has a fuel pressure gauge for about $40. You hook it right to the Schraeder valve (just like a tire valve stem) on your fuel rail. An idea ...

i currently have the same problem which i took to the dealership and they told me its the idle air control motor($80).
im not sure if its the motor or valve or whateva cuz in my service manual i couldnt find an IAC motor all i found is IAC valve im not sure myself if its the same thing or not.
