Did I read somewhere recently about someone illuminating the rear reflector panel on the
trunk lid, maybe with neon technology? What was involved?

I "searched" but couldn't find.

I thought Chris Hightower was working on this a while back. Not sure if anything came out of it or not.

good thing you've got plenty of time to do this,, i feel sorry that you can't drive your contour, i know you have to miss it. i might get a 98+ trunk lid if this looks good and is easy enough to do.

Ya i tried LED's and it don't look right you get one bright spot. Neon is the only way pretty much but im trying a new way the neon was way to bright.
