That's a huge credit to the way you've modded your car (and your driving skill at the strip) that I'm chasing you and I hold a 500cc advantage.

Now that I think of it, is that time with the stock open diff? Dayum, you might be the only person I'd let take my car down the track, just to see what he really can do.

However, I've said it before and I'll say it again: "I don't care about being fastest, I just care about being most consistent." (Looks over at last year's trophy and smiles.)

Yes the stock diff (Knock on wood!)

Well my last 3 times out (read all last year - heheh) I was consistently in the 14's That's consistent enough for me.
What I want to get back consistently is the 2.2 (or better) 60' times. Mine were anything but that as of late.

I can't wait for some new numbers this spring. I'll have to get out before it get hot & humid (er)

You're just a light weight!

You want to know his secret? He counts the grams of food he ate right before, then takes a big shi**t!
lol

My personal best 1/8 mile time is a 9.32 @ 75.25 also with a measly little 2.5 litre. Demon if you remember I told you last Spring the 225's would make it harder to get a good 60' time. That little extra tire height make a good bit of difference in gearing on these little motor's.

You can try and catch me, but you didn't get the rest of the story. That same run I finished the 1/4 in 14.86 at 95.96 mph. The story changes after I get rolling!
As opposed to Demonsvt's lean mean machine, mine is more like a fat porker power lifter. It takes a little out of the motor to get that fat moving...of course I'm not about to take my four 10" woofers out of the trunk, unless it was a grudge race.

Ok, figured I'd throw a little fuel on the fire...9.630/75.06-2.5 liter with a stock diff, and no headers. Best 1/8 mph is 76.72, but a slower 60' caused for a slightly slower 1/4-14.8. On that night with 3/8 tank of gas the car weighed in at 2,875(without me of course).

Just figured I would add some more comparo info, and seeing as how the car is now disassembled awaiting a lung transplant, you're definitley all much quicker than me pushing it!!

Well, I should say that I am weighing in over 3100 lbs on my car! If I shed 300+ pounds then I wouldn't need the 3L now would I? j/k, I'm not about to pull my stereo or any of that stuff, therefore I am just going keep upping the power with boost!! The bottom line is I win the race the american way...fat and lazy hauling all my creature comforts along with a box of twinkies!
