I have a '99 Mystique with the V6 automatic, with 41K. I have recently noticed a roughness when it shifts into overdrive. It reminds me of driving over rumble strips. I believe I had a somewhat similar problem on a '94 Crown Victoria I owned. The Ford garage said I needed a new torque converter but a local garage said that was nonsense and just changed the fluid and it seemed to correct the problem. Other than this problem the vehicle has been trouble free. Any thoughts?
