is it worth it to get the 3L ported and polished? would i have to replace the pistons and rods to run nitrous?

have to ? No. Replace internals? Depends on the size shot you want to run and how often. Originally posted by Bronco_II: is it worth it to get the 3L ported and polished? would i have to replace the pistons and rods to run nitrous?

Well im not goi ng to be taking my heads off now jsut to check LOL j/k Yea we took care of any sharp edges, but u never said anything about a size of shot, I was going to just a run a 50, and rarely use it.

can handle 100+ shot safely if it's done right...

Nitrous actually likes high compression ratios... Just get a set of rods and pistons to handle the extra ummph.

The smaller shots, like say 50 or so would still be fine as long as the bearings were upgraded and a DMD was used. Any higher and the stress from the high cr and N2o at the same time would be to much. Up to a 100 shot can be used on stock internals on stock compression though...

Stock compression as in 3L/Hybrid stock compression?
