Remember, this is the legislature that passed the electric utility "deregulation" that cost the state's power customers $45,000,000,000
without a single opposing vote.
(And if you wonder why people vote for Ralph Nader, note that both Bush and Gore were all in favor of this deregulation, and only Nader warned against it.)
So if you see a law like this passed, don't look for a socialist, look for a lobbyist.
