i seem to have the same problem...when i first bought the car april 01 it was very slight and only when i would put the car into reverse...it gradually got a little more noticeable but still only in reverse....
well i had my atx replaced at ford dealer and they informed me that two of my tranny mounts were bad...they replaced but i think there is still one that needs to be replaced (how many tranny and/or motor mounts does a v6 have?)...
anyway since i've gotten the car back the vibration is worse and pretty much every gears except park....really rough in drive but goes away when i press on the throttle
when i look i think im seeing two new mounts but the one directly on top the the atx looks like it wasn't one of those replaced so im thinking thats my problem
95 contour se...dark blue...monsterflow air filter...remanuf atx...wiring harness recall or bust!!!96k miles...motorcraft awsf32pp plugs & red ford racing 9mm wires...kvr black plated cross-drilled rotors & carbon fiber pads...currently undergoing renovation...excuse our dust!!!
