This problem has been coming and going for the past few months. It stalled again last night, and I searched through the old posts to get ideas. I basically narrowed it down to the coilpack, cam sensor, crank sensor, and IAC. But what I don't really know is how to check it? Someone suggested to me to use a bottle of water and pour it on all those units and see which one stalls the car out. But I'd like to know if there are other methods to do a test if that doesn't work?

Are you serious? Whoever told you that needs to be shot. Did he also tell you to stick a screwdriver in a light socket to see if there was electricity in it???
You know better Dom....

Um, did he also say to make sure your hands are soaked and resting on the coil pack as you're dumping the water on it? Don't forget about adding salt to the water to help with conductivity...
On a semi-serious note, sounds like a sticking IAC valve....

So, what other method can I use to test them? IAC really sounds like my problem. But if the IAC is the one that's causing the stalling, then shouldn't I be able to start the car back up if I step on the gas a little? The car wouldn't start for a long time even when I pressed on the gas. It only started after I let it sit for over an hour.

BTW, I've also tried to push the car to get some speed and drop the clutch, and it didn't work. It only started right back up after I let it sit there for over an hour.

Wires are just one years old, same as the plug. They have about 20k miles on them. I ruled out the wires because I haven't experience missfiring.
I've also pulled the MAF and IAC electrical connector today, but neither stalled the car out... When I pulled the MAF, nothing weird seened to happen; and when I pulled the IAC, the car stalled the first time but the next time, it only have rough idle.
