I do that was also from a bad reading where he had extra lines all over the graph from the dyno.... and those are not excuses... they are get this THOUGHTS.. ever hear of them???? some my own some from other people I know... funny how it's OK for one to make the excuse of "I got a ATX" yet anything I say is an excuse grow up hector... everything I say to come back with quit making excuses... can you type anything else??? I can... you think you are all might with your 16.9 running down hill wanna see how far behind me you still are come race me anywhere any time. I'll even do it with my head gasket as it is just you make you feel better since I'm losing SOOOO much power from that. but since you are the all knowing one I will stop posting now being as it is point less trying to explain something to a brick wall.

if i may butt in here , i think this place fubared joes dyno bigtime the graphs are sloppy and to me look like a bad hook up and i do not think they are corrected , joe's car definelty feels faster to me more now then ever and i dont drive it all the time so i can say that without being biased , i am betting a re-dyno is in order at finishline i trust those guys and ive NEVER seen such a sloppy graph as like the one from this dyno he just did . i do not put very much faith in these numbers...

Trying to figure out if this was directed at me or not.Hector, I only brought myself into this to show Kremit that better dyno runs don't necessarily mean faster 1/4 times. I'm sure there are others here that just lurk and laugh at us because they're running better times/more power but haven't publicized their info. I think that your times - especially considering ATX - are commendable! Regarding the tach being off: in the DynoJet program there is a multiplier they have to set correctly to get the proper RPM readings. Without proper readings, your numbers would be skewed in any number of ways. If everything isn't set right, you'll get incorrect readings. And I also have the same take as HisSVT on this. That is the sloppiest dyno I've ever seen in my life (and I've witnessed over 600 runs in the past year). I've never seen the DynoJet program throw those straight lines off to the side like that - an indication something wasn't right. SAE correction: This is usually a default. But if they're correcting a bad reading, it really doesn't matter. Joe: Get the files from that place. I can plug them into the reader I have on my PC and see if we can figure out if it's all kosher or not.

I was stating this in general. Us ATX owners get a lot of crap. On the topic, I just posted that the head gasket leak could have caused a problem. It was just an idea, and I'm sure it could have something to do with the numbers, IF THEY ARE TRUE.

the headgasket is not an issue for loss of power cause it isn't near the compression chamber. which means it wouldn't be causing a loss in power. I contacted the place about getting the files like darrel asked me to and I have yet to get a responce from them on it. I also plan to get ahold of finishline where my previous 2 dynos were done at about dynoing just my car see what the price would be and when they could do it and to get an air fuel from them while I was at it... and that will be done before I change anything on the car too.

yeah, we do get a lot of crap for having ATXs, mainly in other forums (some svt owners tell me not to mod a ATX, well they even tell me not to mod a zetec ) i wasn't meaning to compare dyno to dyno, just if joe's numbers were right and seeing what joe and hector run at track, hector would probably be faster right now. i know there are plenty of trucks out there with 400hp+ that are slow as crap. though seeing as joe's numbers are most likely not correct, and people riding with him saying it is faster, well he probably still is faster.

I am in the Zetec family again and will never dyno, race, or cares who's 'faster'.
It's 1/10ths of a sec and it could change day by day.
And what's with 'dumbass' and 'numbnuts' comments?
