I would have them on my car now but I got a great deal on Toyo Proxes T1-S's.

Well, I really didn't but they didn't have the 712's and I needed tires NOW!

ChknHwk pushed me to get the Kumho 712's after I bought his E0 rims, so there must be something good about them

Thanks Terri. How's the car holding up? FL was a blast!! Except the part where my daughter told me I was scary looking... But that's getting off topic!

I miss my 712's but I'm getting used to the Toyos!! Just need to get my beater so I can see how these run on the track!

I just put four 225x50-16 on my 98 SVT EO, stock wheels. Love them, they stick. Put about 1000 miles so far, and got 28.5 mpg on a trip avg 75 mph. I bought them on a rare rainy day in San DIego and they performed very good on the wet. I love the looks (serated sidewall), and they are a little narrower than my former 225x50-16 Yokohamas... which I felt looked too wide. These handle fantastic and do not rub. Can't beat price for W-rated tires. Ran them up to 130 and I didnt hear them much at all... all I heard was exhaust and wind.
