Tom, congrats on a sweet setup. The V6 elitists among us (you know who you are) can kiss your 12.xx azz. You have done a great job putting together a unique, fast drag car, and you deserve props for that.

Daaaaang 750.00 for a gear i cant swing that

Guys this is not a drag car it has ,air cond.,heat,full interior except for back seat,dot tires,inspection sticker,tag,full exh,and i drive it to work most every day

correct the turbo i have on now does not come in the kit ,but the turbo i did 328hp at the wheels does

While I'm not a V6 elitist, I will say this... To many talkers, not enough walkers in the 4 banger Contour stables. All of this time, the Zetec guys could have been running special heads, cams, cam gears, the turbo kit... Don't hang on to Tom's shirt tails and expect us to be impressed, it won't happen.

Tom, great job on the engine. I can't wait to see you run with the taller slicks!!! Extra nice that it's in a daily driven car too!

leave it to RARA to bust off on the "boost threshold" vs. lag issue. i was all geared up to write a long-winded, "do-you-really-know-what-lag-is" reply but brian nipped it in the bud.

oh well. maybe next time.

that car would haul if he could get his starts down, he needs to be lettin it go when that third yellow hits not when that green shines, also hes spinnin through second . mad loss of time. just some pointers.
