First of all, this sight is amazing. I recently bought a used SE (end of October)with 115,000 miles and since then, the waterpump went out on a Sunday, the next day after replacing the WP, the O/D off light started flashing after 2 hrs at 80 mph. I shut it off, letting the transaxle cool, made it home ok after that and got the fluid changed to Mobil 1. (Just took a long trip and no repeat of the problem, also seems to shift smoother). Coincidentally, my clock light stopped illuminating last week. LOL! Easy fix there it seems. It's nice to be able to come to this forum and see a header for each of these common ailments. One other 'problem' I'm noticing is a strange sqeauking on right hand only turns. The mechanic said the CV joints were fine. Could this be a steering linkage problem. It sounds like it's making contact with something or possibly a strut compressing. Any ideas? Oh yeah, I love this car. It's a tempting car to drive fast. ;-) Hello speeding tix!
