well then mr. hotdog...this is an enthusiast site...and since you think that contours(including svt)are pieces of sh!t,then why don't you stay the hell off our forums then...we are sick of hearing you whine about your crush bent exhaust,we don't care...you know nothing about contours, and apparently nothing about exhaust systems so why not stfu?????

and btw...when the svt was introduced in 1998 it trounced alot of cars that were waaay more expensive, and supposedly"upper end"as you like to call them...so once again you don't know sh!t about what you are talking about...but what's new???

and the gtech is NOT an accurate gauge of 1/4 times...so ur gtech times don't mean squat in the real world...so take your m3,ur maxima, and your tour(with the crush bent exhaust)and find a forum you are welcome on...cause we're sick of hearing you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mr. Silversvt,DemonSVT challenged anyone to prove him wrong and he was proved wrong. He never admitted that he was wrong , just whined like a baby. As for your comment, ALL american cars are pieces of [censored].We all know this! It's not a freaking mystery. Thankfully, american cars are produced so people ,like yourself, can afford some performance. Of course it's unrefined performance. Yeah I know the contour was designed in Europe with an american engine. If you'd read all the threads before putting in your 2 cents you'd have noticed that DemonSVT measured his car's performance with a GTECH. I compared mine also with a GTECH to show HIM that my NON-SVT,with the "shitty" exhaust was almost as fast as his SVT with many more mods. Also, you don't speak for everyone since SOME people actually enjoyed this debate. Again read the threads! Age will bring you wisdom. Hopefully it will also bring you more $$$ so you can one day own a fine automobile.AGAIN the contour is a good car and the svt a better car compared to other american cars.

Every second sentence your insulting me using swear words.Don't you think that's immature for a "man" of 34.Don't you think telling me to stfu is insulting. Of course i'll fight back, but without calling you childish names.Enjoy your car. Just try not to speak for others that might enjoy a healthy debate. Being proud and ignorant won't take you far in life!

Quoting G-Tech times {cough} dyno {cough cough}

Ignorance is bliss isn't it.

BTW - where's my pic of the cars together??? hmmm...
You must have at least 4 or 5 counting them up in your different posts.

You come to a site full of enthusiasts who obviously love their cars and also have a great deal of knowledge about cars (and most everything else with the great diversity here) and start spouting off why no one has done a POS crush bent 2.5" single exhaust and why have they not thought of it or tried it.
That is fairly close to the pinnacle of stupidity and definitely plain ignorant.

On top of this your lack of knowledge is blatantly obvious yet your misguided exuberance has blinded you to this fact.

...and btw... Crush bends "by design" suck and always will. No matter how much you rant it will not change this fact & this fact is the basis of my original post. Well besides being my typical over the top, prove it or lose it, place putting SOB self.

You ought to feel pretty good that this guy has come on here and compares himself to you.
Being close to the top is nice but the dogs are always nipping at your heels trying to take your place.
Such is the result of success and fame...

I got the mufflers from www.a-1performance.com but www.summitracing.com is about the same, if not better. www.jcwhitney.com for the 2.5" mandrel bends.

The muffler prices where after a $20 each rebate I took advantage of. BTW, I posted it on CEG Group Buy section, but no response. Its been extended to the end of November. Nothing like saving $40-60 on mufflers that cost $150. Rebate Techincally the resonator I use is a muffler not a resonator.

IIRC, bnoon, stazi, demonsvt, and I all went with jcwhitney mandrel bends. Some even with dynomax.

I took the mufflers and pipe to the local shop. I had them remove the 2/3 bolt flange between the shoshop y pipe and the exhaust. They started at the resonator, and then went with 6 consecutive 90 degree mandrel bends that was pre-expanded from JC. So it all fit together with some cut to fit around the tank and under the suspension. Even the last curve from behind the gas tank into the muffler was a mandrel curve that had to be almost all cut off.

$40 cash. He hadn't seen business in 2 1/2 days. No warranty, no hassles, yadda, yadda, yadda. New exhaust, didn't say a word about no cat conv. great road side muffler shop.

I should take some pictures. The JCWhitney barcodes are still on there. So the exhaust must not get that hot.

My original plan was to cut to fit the pipe myself by using a saw and clamp it together, then get the local shop to weld the seams. But I thought, with the saving, let them do it. FWIW, if I did only need the seams welded, it would have cost me $2/weld or $20.

I know you are speaking to DemonSVT, but since my slip for fastest contour still stands, I will squeeze some satisfaction from the "close to the top" comment.
