I got the mufflers from www.a-1performance.com but www.summitracing.com is about the same, if not better. www.jcwhitney.com for the 2.5" mandrel bends.

The muffler prices where after a $20 each rebate I took advantage of. BTW, I posted it on CEG Group Buy section, but no response. Its been extended to the end of November. Nothing like saving $40-60 on mufflers that cost $150. Rebate Techincally the resonator I use is a muffler not a resonator.

IIRC, bnoon, stazi, demonsvt, and I all went with jcwhitney mandrel bends. Some even with dynomax.

I took the mufflers and pipe to the local shop. I had them remove the 2/3 bolt flange between the shoshop y pipe and the exhaust. They started at the resonator, and then went with 6 consecutive 90 degree mandrel bends that was pre-expanded from JC. So it all fit together with some cut to fit around the tank and under the suspension. Even the last curve from behind the gas tank into the muffler was a mandrel curve that had to be almost all cut off.

$40 cash. He hadn't seen business in 2 1/2 days. No warranty, no hassles, yadda, yadda, yadda. New exhaust, didn't say a word about no cat conv. great road side muffler shop.

I should take some pictures. The JCWhitney barcodes are still on there. So the exhaust must not get that hot.

My original plan was to cut to fit the pipe myself by using a saw and clamp it together, then get the local shop to weld the seams. But I thought, with the saving, let them do it. FWIW, if I did only need the seams welded, it would have cost me $2/weld or $20.
