Not sure. I have heard a lot of people say you don't need to.

130 amp is actually pretty high. I don't know what these cars usually use as a rule, but unless you are going to install something crazy, this should be plenty enough. Also if you're looking for a stereo application, a capacitor is usually a much cheaper and simpler sollution.
