Sounds like it's time for new brakes, all components.
If this really did occur you have surely destroyed the hoses and caliper seals, new pads and warped the rotors.
I've done a considerable amount of high speed braking and have never had this occur myself.
Perhaps you or your mechanic did something wrong when intalling the brake components to get a fire started (BTW - the only thing that will burn is grease {not cleaned off} or the rubber components)
Sounds like an expensive lesson to me!
