holy ship .. did your brakes fail at all? I know when I go for joy rides and mess with my car making excessive stops, the brakes tend to get real hot and fail. I have never seen a flame. The rotors do get VERY hot, and if something that was flamable was near the rotors, it it quite possible that is what was on fire
