mine came on last night driving home from work. it came on, stayed on, ran a little rough, i turned it off turned it on again and it stayed on. im way too busy to deal with it so i idled it to the big ovals garage. sounds to me like just an o2 sensor. but whutever it is i have extended warranty on the beast now so it should be covered. tho i may have to pay the $100 deductable.

Probably is an O2 sensor. However, the last time my "Check Engine" light came on and the car was running rough, I had two bad O2 sensors and a seized inlet runner control valve. It was an expensive repair, but the car runs fine now. ... shoulda got the extended warranty.

Advocate,
Have your visor and the CEL fixed TOGETHER. The Extended Warranty should cover your Vanity Light repair, provided you bought the Premium Care plan, even if they have to order $250 worth of parts.

so heres the verdict from ford. they replaced a pfe sensor (?) under warranty. the light for the visor is "trim" so it isnt covered in my warranty. so they charged me $180 - $100 for the deductable and $80 for checking things over. gotta love the we looked at your car for 5 mins and found nothing wrong heres our bill. haha oh well
