especially if you see what your giving up. power for accesories. I have burnt out a battery so far trying to keep up with my stereo and heater. wouldnt be surprised if my alternator is next.
"no negative effects on the engine" - yea right, you can feel more vibration at all times.
"you will have more power" - id say so, it does rev alot faster.
"you can run all your accessories and a stereo system up to 400 watts" - yea if you use 1 at a time, or only use them for a bit.
my car would die if I had my stereo cranked up and i was driving on the highway (bout a 20 min drive ussually), as soon as i stopped at a light my car would die.
another thing that i didnt consider is that you would lose power for spark and such for the engine, now im not sure if thats where it pulls power from but thats what i think.
