When my car was less than 6 months old, I drove in snow back and forth to work many times during the winter on my stock BFG's. I never had a problem. They actually handled quite well. I even used them in light snow a year later. Again, no problem. That's just me though. Either way, they're not designed for it, so if they're old tires or you're thinking about getting them, I'd try to get some all-seasons instead.
