I used Ford's TB/combustion chamber cleaner. I first sprayed all the crap on the TB, butterfly and behind the TB with the engine off. I then started the car and let it settle down before spraying some more cleaner to make sure everything was flushed.

Per the instructions, I clamped off the IAC hose and sprayed with the TB cracked until the engine was nicely loaded with the cleaner and finally stalled. I then let it sit for 20-30 minutes to give it time to dissolve.

Afterwards the car seemed much more responsive than with the TB cleaner alone. Next time I'm going to take the intake plenum off and give everything a thorough cleaning.
