i know it's a ways off, but i'm really anxious for it to come. does anybody else know if they are going to make it to the event? it starts january 24th. never too early to start planing.

How is the spectating for this event? I would imagine it might be kind a difficult as the event is located in the woods in the middle of the winter...I might get to crew for a competitor also

ah, man we had awesome spots last year. it was great. you can either stay where they have the yellow tape to block you from getting too close or venture off on your own (if they dont change it). i remember at one point the front car was coming around and i didnt realize how fast or close he was going to be. i was just looking through my camera thinking nothing of it and the thing scared the sh!t out of me. remember that mark? i think i was at the same spot as you then. anyways, it's good stuff. anyone considering should for sure go. just as a warning though, be sure to always check the shower before you step in.

Oh hell yeah I'm there And maybe this time we shouldn't let Mark drink so much....

On a serious note though...since the official dates are posted we should try and get some motel reservations within the next month or so. I remember calling around last year and even a month before the event I found places were filled up. So let's get a roll call...who is DEFINITELY going and wants to share a motel room?
