Some people (uneducated w/b's) think that a hoodscoop is really a supercharger! Seriously. I've talked to a guy before who thought his car had a 'supercharger', and I looked under his hood, and then I had to be the one to tell him what a supercharger is.

Also, those guys who put on those electric bilge vent fans (for boats) on their intake tubes, probably also think they have superchargers too. Ask those guys how much boost they got, and they say, 'what is boost?'
