Go drive a Miata. Especially a later first-generation one, say a nice '96 or '97. Perfect feel, highly precise, and smooth, easy clutch take-up. I find Honda's MTXs lack feel and the BMWs generally have clutches that are too heavy for my taste.

The CSVT's MTX is pretty decent, but it doesn't have great precision (I have to hunt for gears from time to time). The clutch isn't very communicative either IMHO. I have a bitch of a time being smooth with the 1-2 upshift, though I think poly in the front motor mount would help that a lot.
